Happy 5th Anniversary

Five years ago this afternoon, Rich stood in a sanctuary and offered a lunch blessing. Our guests were waiting to congratulate Bailee and her new husband, Jeremy, and continue to celebrate with us. Everything about our daughter's wedding and leading up to that ceremony had been magical. The private smiles at the alter between bride and groom, Rich and Bailee's friend singing "Revelation Song," her childhood piano teacher accompanying them, the communion for two mid-service, the green shoes, the cupcake tastings, the favors of honey to reflect the sweetness of marriage. So many wonderful memories of the planning days and the wedding day. "Bailee and Jeremy are the collective gift of two families to the world," Rich said.

There was a first dance on the patio, the traditional father-daughter dance, and dancing with brothers late into the night at the after party.

There were these two. Five years now our gift to the world with their big kissy lips and adoring gazes. Happy Anniversary Bailee and Jeremy! We celebrate you today!
